Grilling peaches brings out the best of their natural juicy sweetness; it’s a fun, easy, and delicious way to celebrate one of summer’s best fruits. After grilling, finish the peaches with one of our topping ideas for the perfect summer dessert!

1 tablespoon Natural Grocers® Brand Organic Extra-Virgin Coconut Oil
4 large ripe organic peaches, halved and pitted
1 tablespoon Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Coconut Sugar, optional
  1. Preheat grill to medium heat (~350° F).
  2. While the grill heats, melt the coconut oil and brush the cut side of the peaches with the oil. Once the grill is hot, place the peaches on the grate, cut-side down. Grill for 4-6 minutes, or until grill marks are formed, before flipping and grilling the other side. If you are adding coconut sugar, sprinkle the cut side with the sugar. Let the peaches grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender. Once done, place the peach halves on a baking sheet, cut-side up, until you are ready to top and serve.

 

Topping Ideas

Salted Miso Caramel Sundae: Add a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream to each peach half, then drizzle with our homemade miso caramel sauce and top with a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt. An absolute treat!

Honey Thyme Drizzle: Add a scoop of ricotta cheese, whipped cream, or Greek yogurt and drizzle with our homemade honey thyme sauce. Delicious!
